Guide to Import passwords From Chrome to Microsoft Edge
Here is the step-by-step guide to transfer all the saved passwords from Chrome browser to Microsoft edge browser securely. This article applies for both Windows & Mac OS platforms.
Step 1: Open Microsoft edge browser on your laptop / Mac
Step 2: Click on the 3-dot menu on the top right corner to access the menu & go to “Settings“.

Step 3: From “Profile” section, go to “Import browser data“.
Step 4: Click on “Import passwords” button under the “import from other password managers. From the drop-down menu, choose “Google Chrome“. This will give you a lot more options – like bookmarks, history, open tabs & more. Choose as per your requirement.
Note: Previously imported passwords for the same websites in Edge will be overwritten by the data from Chrome.
Step 5: Click on “Import“. This will import passwords from Chrome to Microsoft edge & You will see the below confirmation.
