Download & Save GIF From Twitter on iPhone
Apart from the fact that the GIFs on twitter are actual short videos, Here’s how you can easily download & save GIFs on your iphone / Ipad.
Inorder to be able to download GIFs from twitter on your iphone, You need to download & install a free app “GIFwrapped” from App Store. Once it’s installed, Follow the below step by step process to save twitter GIF’s on your iphone.
- Open Twitter App on your iphone.
- Find the tweet, with the GIF you wanted to download, & Tap on the share button as shown in the image below.
- Tap on “Share Tweet Via..” & then select “Copy Link”.
- Now open “GIFwrapped” on your iphone & tap on search tab.
- Select “Use the clipboard” option to paste the copied link of Twitter GIF here.
- This will show you the GIF file in the app. Click the share button on the top right corner & Select “save to library” from the options.
This will save the image to the GIFwrapped application’s library. However it is worth noting that this won’t be reflected in your iphone photo library. If you want to save these downloaded GIFs from twitter to your iphone photo library, then proceed with the below steps.
- Open the GIF in GIFwrapped library.
- Select share button on the top right corner.
- Tap on “Save Image” to save it iphone photo library. This will save the GIF to the library.
