Facebook Lite Android App for Low Spec devices (Download Apk)

Facebook launched “Facebook Lite” app for Android devices with low specs. With this move, it’s clear that Facebook making moves to reach more people by providing lite apps which support on low end Android smartphones.

This app is only 262KB which is 1/100th of the main Facebook app used by millions of People. It can work seamlessly without any lagging on low RAM Android mobiles and on 2G Internet connections. It basically uses very less data compared to the main App.

This App is based on the Snaptu Application which Facebook purchased in 2011. Snaptu is a light weight app that allowed Facebook to run feature phones. This new Facebook Lite App resembles that app both in functionality and in design. Facebook Lite may be a lite weight, but it’s packed with all the core features like Facebook notifications, groups, pages, Messenger and more.

This app is already available in majority of the countries, you can download this app from the PlayStore from here. But for some devices it may show the app is not compatible. But don’t disappoint.
